Basic Shield Blueprint:

This is a 2D digital blueprint file intended to be used for a cosplay prop of a Basic Shield. You can purchase this PDF file and print in out at home. The file includes a 1-page PDF file of the front end of the Shield. There is NOT a side view of the shield included in the file. The file also includes a pdf file for the handle pattern and an instruction guide to show you how to build your shield. The Instuction Guide gives you step by step instructions on how to build the shield using either 5mm eva foam or 10mm eva foam.

Sizing

All my Patterns and Blueprint Files only comes in one size, but you can easily scale your file to a smaller or larger size using a program like Adobe Acrobat. To make it as Easy as Posible for you to print or resize your files I include a Printing and Sizing Guide to show you how to Print the Files out and How to resize them to your Needs.

 

Instructions 

In addition to the pattern file there is also an instruction Guide! The zip file includes a simple instruction guide to help you build your own Version of Basic shield. However, the Instruction Guide Included is NOT a full tutorial. It is just a simple list of Step-by-step instructions on how I made my version.

 

What is a Blueprint and How can It Help me Build my Own Prop?
Blueprints can be 2D or 3D files that can be printed out in a 2D or 3D printers and put together to use to create weapons or props for your costumes. For 2D files you Print the file, cut it out, tape it together, then you can use different sizes of Eva foam or other crafting materials to create the prop. These 2D files are just flat versions of the Weapon or Prop but they can be used to get the right sizing, shape, and Details of the item you are trying to Create. If you have Never Worked with Blueprint Files Before, I would Advise some Experience with Working with blueprint files.

 

PDF File
This is a PDF file download so you will need a printer and the necessary materials to print out the pattern and build your piece. No Physical Item will be shipped to you.
